Okay, so I couldn't help giving you a sneak peak at one of the new designs I'll be showcasing at the Dakota Spirit Banquet Art Show. Enjoy!
This one is titled "Athame Flower" The pendant slides off the intricately beaded chain so the chain can be worn separately if desired. I've been working on this one for a while and I hope it shows well.

On Saturday, October 1st, I'll be exhibiting at an art show in Huron, SD. The art show is for the guests of the annual Spirit of Dakota Banquet, which is held to honor a South Dakota woman who has shown leadership in and commitment to her community. As such, I'm racing to get a few of my larger showpieces done in time. I'll post a summary here after the show with pictures of my display. I am so excited to participating. It's a great cause and promises to be a lovely evening.

I thought I'd start things off on the right foot and include a picture of my work. While I often work from patterns to build most of my stock, my real passion is designing pieces of my own--in fact, one of the reasons for starting my small business in the first place was merely to help fund my "beading habit" and make continuing in design work financially possible. This piece, titled "Russian Rings", is one of my earlier designs and one I am still quiet fond of.
